Brittany Washington (Davenport, Iowa) is a mother, entrepreneur, and the founder of My Beautiful Fluff, a body-positive lifestyle brand created to empower women to love themselves fully and unapologetically.
My Beautiful Fluff creates inclusive apparel, journals, coloring books, and self-care products designed to build confidence and self-love. The brand serves plus-size women and women with natural hair who want to feel represented, celebrated, and seen in spaces that have historically excluded them.
Brittany built My Beautiful Fluff from lived experience. Growing up plus-size, she rarely saw women who looked like her reflected positively in fashion or beauty. Years of struggling with confidence, health challenges, and feeling invisible led her to create the brand she wished had existed earlier in her life.
“I created My Beautiful Fluff to remind women that they are worthy, beautiful, and enough exactly as they are,” Brittany shares.
What sets My Beautiful Fluff apart is its commitment to community impact alongside quality products. The brand focuses on inclusive experiences, representation, and partnerships that support local causes and socially responsible work.
One of Brittany’s proudest lessons has been learning the power of consistency and purpose. Even during seasons when health, finances, and setbacks made it tempting to stop, she kept going.
“Consistency, community, and believing in your purpose can carry you through uncertainty,” she says.
