Sometimes the greatest opportunities begin with the greatest disruptions.

For DeKesha Williams, founder of Vizions Enterprise, everything changed with a single phone call. After taking what she thought would be a temporary leave from work, she learned the company had closed its doors. Suddenly, the career she had depended on was gone.

What could have been the end of her story became the beginning of something much bigger.

Today, DeKesha is known across the entrepreneurial world as The Webinar Queen, helping coaches, consultants, and service providers transform webinars and workshops into predictable client enrollment systems. Having served more than 200 entrepreneurs, she's built a reputation for helping business owners create scalable, sustainable businesses that generate consistent revenue.

But as she shared on the BLK GRL MOB POD, webinars have never been the real product. The real work has always been helping entrepreneurs build businesses that actually grow.

Throughout our conversation, DeKesha challenged the idea that success comes from chasing the latest trend. Instead, she believes entrepreneurs should focus on creating systems that consistently attract, educate, and convert clients. Whether that system includes webinars, workshops, or another strategy altogether, the goal is the same: build a business that works with intention.

One of the most powerful moments of our conversation came when DeKesha reflected on what it means to grow beyond the title people know you for. While many recognize her as The Webinar Queen, she explained that her business has evolved into something much larger. Today, Vizions Enterprise includes multiple business entities that allow her to serve entrepreneurs more holistically, proving that growth often requires giving yourself permission to evolve.

Yet beyond marketing and business strategy, DeKesha's greatest passion may be the one most people never see.

After becoming a caregiver and walking through one of the most difficult seasons of her life, she discovered the importance of creating safe spaces for women carrying burdens in silence. It's a reminder that even the strongest leaders need community, support, and places where they can simply be human.

When asked about the future of Black women in business, DeKesha didn't hesitate.

She believes our greatest opportunity isn't found in competition—it's found in collaboration.

She challenged Black women entrepreneurs to stop shrinking, stop undervaluing themselves, and start building together with intention. Whether through partnerships, referrals, shared audiences, or simply showing up for one another, she believes our collective success depends on our willingness to grow as a community.
