Jawanda Smith (Richmond, Virginia), founder of Let’s Do It Right Events and creator of Journey with Jai is a purpose-driven leader building at the intersection of strategy, execution, and personal alignment. Through her businesses and platforms, she creates spaces where excellence, empowerment, and community meet. As an entrepreneur, media voice, and mother, Jawanda leads with intention while honoring faith, healing, and growth.

Through Let’s Do It Right Events, Jawanda helps entrepreneurs, organizations, and communities plan, market, and manage events with structure, professionalism, and polish. Her work is rooted in systems and execution, ensuring that visions are not only seen but felt. The focus is always on doing things the right way the first time.

Journey with Jai is her personal growth platform centered on reflection, truth, and intentional living. Through media and content, Jawanda creates space for mindset resets, healing conversations, and identity reclaiming, helping listeners move forward with clarity and confidence.

In addition to events and media, Jawanda offers coaching, books, and digital experiences designed to support transformation and alignment. Her work guides women, especially purpose-driven leaders, through boundaries, self-worth, and sustainable leadership so they can lead without burnout and build without guilt.

“I bring a rare blend of strategy and soul,” Jawanda shares. “I understand systems and results, but I also understand the emotional, mental, and spiritual weight people carry while building businesses, families, and lives.”

Jawanda started her businesses after seeing too many people with powerful visions but no structure, support, or safe space to bring those visions to life. Her gift is helping people move from chaos to clarity and from ideas to execution without shrinking themselves in the process.

One lesson she is most proud of learning is that choosing herself is not selfish. It is necessary for peace, clarity, and longevity.

When asked how community can support her work, Jawanda is clear. She values power, protection, and positioning over motivation. A BLK GRL MOB community provides shared strategy, access, visibility, and accountability while ensuring Black women do not have to carry vision alone or soften themselves to succeed.
